what is inspires your art?

My artistic inspiration comes from many different sources, visually I draw on The influence of

Nigerian block and textile prints to add dimension in my work. I draw inspiration from the coloring

and texture and apply it within my own work

What kind of stories do you tell?

As Aduke’s art allows them to work through their experiences and hopefully let go

of the painful instances that inspired them, she hopes the viewer will find connection in her

work and that experiencing a small part of her will be able to push the viewer to in turn undergo

their own form of self-exploration.

Favourite song?

My favourite song at the moment is SHE DGAF by BELOVED SUN, Sol Galeano. I love the high

tempo and energy. The song ignites my passion for music curation and I can imagine the track

playing in a crowded room and people slowly starting to move in sync with the beat.
